Apex Builders, Inc. is owned and operated by Rich and Nora Van Ham. We approach each project with a "team work" attitude. Each member of our team has "hands-on" involvement with the business on a daily basis. Rich is an Aurora native who has been involved in the construction industry for over 20 years. He has a degree in Construction Technology from Southern Illinois University. Rich draws upon his education and technical background, and applies his skill and knowledge to residential construction. Nora has been his partner since they started Apex in 1990. Her background in office management has been vital in the perpetuation and success of this endeavor. She has been responsible, in no small part, in building trusting and loyal relationships with our Subcontractors and material suppliers. This has made her move to the field a natural transition. With extraordinary organizational skills, she has managed new home construction for the past four years.
Apex Builders, Inc. also boasts a crew of skilled craftsman who are
employed directly by our company. We rely on a team of Subcontractors
who share our commitment to excellence, and contract the same professionals to perform their
specialties on every job. On-going communication assures timely completion of each phase of
construction. Our employees and Subcontractors show respect to our clients, and the environment
in which they work. We are pleased to provide assistance in design and product selection from
start to finish. Apex offers professional architectural design services,
and also works closely with two recognized leaders in the Kitchen Design field.
Along with construction of creative custom homes, Apex Builders, Inc. offers full-service remodeling. What began as a company performing routine remodeling and home improvements, has grown to include numerous extraordiary renovations to existing homes.
